Hi all. I’m in charge of this week’s paddle. Without trying to sound like a broken record, you’ll probably be aware that the weather gods are still being mean. Wind speeds pick up mid afternoon on Sat (borderline of club remit), against an outgoing end of spring tides and swells around 4.5 ft. Not the best predictions currently. I will hold off making a go/no go decision until tomorrow evening, so please look here or the club forum for confirmation.
    Cheers Andy

After having a look now, the wind is picking up mid afternoon with gusts up to 25mph. This could be an issue along with tailing 4.5ft swells so what I’m thinking is offering a shorter more local paddle. I’m guaging the apetite for perhaps coffee at Mount Edgecombe for eg, back around 1230 ish. If there’s a good response I think we could do something. Please comment here if you are interested. Ta

Well I think we have some interest. Let’s do it.
On the water for 10:00. Please bring any safety equipment that you have. We’ll stop for a break but not lunch. If you want to ensure a particular club boat, please arrange through the equipment officer.
