Hi all. I am running this week’s rec paddle. At the moment the weather is looking good. The temperature is slowly dropping so wear appropriate clothing and bring your lunch, drinks and any safety equipment that you have. For anyone interested, I’ll be using a small boat, so don’t feel that you are forced to used a sea boat if you would rather not. There is a Regatta planned this weekend so parking might be scarce, so please allow for this, as we will be on the water for 10:00 and cannot wait. See ya there..

Hi all. I may have bad news. Possibly this trip will be cancelled. I just called the Longroom for clsrification but even they need to do this too. There is a submarine being moved tomorrow and the sound will be out of bounds. Longroom currently say between 1130 and 1500 but I read it as only for an hour, between these times. I am waitingvfor clarification so look here again this evening – https://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/khm/plymouth/local-notices/lntm/2024/plntm-061-temporary-restriction-on-port-activity-direction

Okay. I just contacted the Long room and the submarine movement is cancelled, so business as usual. Get there a little earlier due to lack of parking and on the water for 10:00.
