    Good morning Roselanders!
Well, it is just 5 sleeps until the dawn of the 10th Anniversary of Roseland. We all look forward to our food and with that in mind I am going to get the non perishable groceries sorted over the next week. The perishables will be bought on the way down to Roseland.
    Yorkshire Tea, Redbush decaff tea,
    Coffee, caffeinated and decaff
    Marmalade, jam and Marmite
    Sugar
Cereals, muesli, porridge, Shreddies, Weetabix, Honey Nut Crunch
    Bread
    Milks
    and more basic essentials!

The meal on Friday evening is now a tradition!
    Clive’s Soup
    Merryl’s Crumble and Custard

We are having a celebration buffet in the evening. If everyone could bring a buffet item that would be great. These things usually work well without too much intervention! Usual things, biscuits, cheese, pickled onions … PLEASE POST BELOW THE DELIGHT YOU ARE BRINGING TO THE TABLE!

If you have any special dietary needs please let me know asap so that we can ensure that you are catered for. Eg gluten free, vegan, vegetarian etc.

Love Roseland and looking forward to spending time with you all.

I will make a large traditional Greek salad (and bring some Ouzo and plates to smash) for the buffet. It may be an idea to find out what people are intending bringing along so we don’t duplicate to much?

๐Ÿ˜€ Thank you Terry. If everyone posts here what they intend to bring it should be easy to ensure variety. Thanks

I will bring a kilo of coleslaw and two kg of potato salad. I can bring more if people think that’s not enough.

Karen has offered quiches and I’ll bring a selection of cheese and olives. As Roseland virgins we have a couple of questions. What do we do for lunches and what about Saturday evening? Also, having a problem that we don’t talk about, I was wondering about beer or wine?! The other thing is that we are unlikely to arrive before 20:30. Ah, so many questions, and so few answers, but we’re keen to do our bit,

๐Ÿ™‚ No worries Adam and Karen. Friday evening is a tradition now whereby Clive produces a freshly made batch of soup ( please don’t stir the pot as you walk by!!) ๐Ÿ˜‰ this is served with chunks of bread. Yum! Then, up pops Merry with her fruit crumble and custard. Also yum!
Bread, cereals, tea, coffee jam, marmalade, Marmite, butter, milk, spread, etc are provided for the group.
We are having a buffet on Saturday with everyone being asked to provide something yummy for the table. Your offering of quiche, olives and cheese are indeed yummy! Thank you both.
You do need to provide your own lunches for Saturday and Sunday. Also, please bring whatever you like to drink in the way of alcohol. Everyone sorts this for themselves.
At some point Mary and I will have put our heads together and added the cost of the communal provisions, Friday’s meal etc and this is shared between all Roselanders in addition to accommodation costs. We will then let everyone know the cost and will collect it on Saturday evening.
Looking forward to Roseland, not many sleeps now!!
    Hope this helps! ๐Ÿ˜€
