    Hi all,

I hope Santa brought you everything that you wanted without spoiling you.

I am running the river trip this Sunday, 31 December. I will post gain on Friday with a bit of a plan but I thought that I would just give you an early heads up. Just like last week I would expect the rivers to be fairly quiet, so once again whatever we do we will have a 09:00 start.

    Until Friday…

Well boys and girls, I warn you that this isn’t going to be very helpful.

At time of writing river levels are reasonably friendly, but there is a fair amount of rain forecast for tomorrow (Saturday) evening. Predicting where we will be able to paddle on Sunday very definitely qualifies as a dark art. My first choice would be the Walkham but we will have to wait and see. I will post again tomorrow evening but even then, I may not be able to make a decision until Sunday morning.

Sorry it’s all a bit vague.

In the mean time if you think you are going to come along please let me know.

    Thanks

Here I am posting as promised, how dependable am I?

At the moment levels are OK for the Walkham but there is a bit of rain forecast overnight, maybe quite a lot depending which website you choose to believe. The plan is to run the Walkham so we’ll meet at Towerfield Drive, Roborough, ready to leave at 09:00 please.

I will check the levels again in the morning and post any change of plan on here before 08:00. Hopefully nothing will change.

See you tomorrow for the last PPCA river trip of the year.

The Walkham is running at 0.6 at 7am and dropping. That will do for us, so the Walkham it is.

    See you all soon.
