River trip, Sunday 3 March.

Hi all,

I am running this week’s river trip, Sunday 3 March.

It hard to imagine that there won’t be enough water for this trip to go ahead but where to go remains a mystery. I will look at levels tomorrow afternoon and make a plan. The choices are the Walkham, the Tavy from Tavistock to Denham bridge or the Loop. Whatever we do we will be leaving at 08:00.

As usual I would appreciate knowing who is going to come along. Thanks in anticipation.

So excited to be posting again tomorrow, I can hardly wait.

Well, I’m not so very sure what the correct decision is so I will err on the side of caution and say that we will run the Loop tomorrow. Meet at the car park adjacent to the Co-op in the Ridgeway in Plympton ready to leave at 08:00 please.

Those of you that wish to meet at the river 08:30 at the layby adjacent to Holne Wier.

To pamper to Adam’s insistence on doing something scientific we make partake in some underwater geology.
