Hi, Jane Hitchings and I are due to run the river trip this Sunday (27th). What we actually do will be level dependent (and my prediction is quite low levels but we shall see) but I’m interested in what you’d ideally like to do if levels permit.

There’s a poll running on Facebook; feel free to contribute if you are a FB user. If you are not, send me a note of what you’d be interested in doing this week and I’ll factor that in.

Actual plan noted here later in the week and subject to change until we are actually on the water 🙂

Poll results noted. Unfortunately, there’s not enough water to make any of the intermediate runs viable. There’s definitely not enough water to make hours of driving to the barle worth it. The teign is full of trees (4 portages reported on a recent trip!) so again not worth the drive

So, the best option would seem to be a trip on the lower and let Lisa and Dave try out their new boats at a reasonable level of challenge.

Hopefully more options before the end of the season!!

And in case it’s not obvious that means beginners welcome.

Hi Kevin. I’m up for it! Meeting at Plympton Coop I presume? Leaving at 8 or 9?

Current plan: meet at plympton for 8. Check levels and beginner ambition in the morning 🙂. Those aiming to meet at the river, we will confirm where by 8.

    Hi Kevin,
Assuming it’s Lower dart which hopefully will still have water, I’ll pop along too,
    Cheers Kitts
