River Trip Sunday 21st January 2024

Hi all,
I’m leading this week’s River Trip, Sunday 21st January 2024.
It’s been a fairly dry week and there is no significant rain in the forecast but surprisingly, levels do seem to be holding up. 0.57 at Austins Bridge and 0.35 at Dunnabridge at 20:00 today. There should be water Saturday night coming in for a trip on the Loop, so that is the plan at the moment.
I think the emphasis will be on fun and not adrenalin.
There will be no planned Rescue Training.
Have food and drink for the River and make sure you are dressed for the seasonal chill on and off the water.
Meet at the car park adjacent to the Co-op on the Ridgeway ready to leave at 08:00 please. If you intend meeting at the river then be at the lay by adjacent to Holne Weir by 08:30 please.
I would appreciate knowing who is intending to come along. Thank you.

There’s a bit of rain in the forecast tonight, I wouldn’t be surprised if the levels turn out to be quite pleasant tomorrow.
