River trip, Sunday 19 March.

Just thought that I would give an early heads up.

Hi all, I’m running the river trip this Sunday, 19 March, ably aided by Jane Hitchins, one of our newly qualified river leaders.

There is rain in the forecast so I am optimistic that this trip will go ahead. No real plans as yet but probably the loop with an early start.

I will post again on Friday with more of a plan.

Hi Boys and Girls.

Well, there has been a change. Instead of Jane lending a hand on Sunday Bekky, our other newly qualified river leader, will be my glamourous assistant. Very exciting for those of you that get excited about such things.

Judging by the forecast the Loop will be low but runnable on Sunday, and judging by the number of paddlers out and about during the week it could well be busy. So, the plan is to meet at the Co-op car park in the Ridgeway, Plympton, ready to leave at 08:00. Those of you that would prefer to go straight to the river then meet at the lay by adjacent to Holne Weir at 08:30.

As usual it would be nice to know who’s coming, especially if you intend meeting at the river.
