    Hi all,

As Phil has mentioned in another post I am going to run the river trip this Sunday, 15 December. Consider it my little Christmas present to you, quite possibly one that you would rather not receive.

It’s far too early yet to think about where we are going to paddle but there is a bit of rain in the forecast, so things are looking good. I will post again on Friday with some kind of plan that will involve meeting somewhere in Plymouth ready to leave at 09:00.

    Hi all,

I said I’d post today with a bit of a plan for Sunday so this is as near to a plan as I can get at the moment.

My first choice for Sunday would be to run the Walkham, but that does need water and I’m not sure there will be enough. My second choice would be to run something on the Dart, depending on who is coming along. I’ve got a feeling that the Dart will win but I’m not deciding yet. So here’s what we will do.

We will meet at Plympton as normal ready to leave at 09:00.

I will look at the levels on Sunday morning and put a post here by 08:00 to advise my decision. That will give those who don’t want to go to Plympton the chance of meeting at the river.

As plans go that’s pretty vague isn’t it?

Your Mum has told me to observe that it’s not only going to be cold but also a bit windy. Your Mum says wrap up nice and warm.

If your Mum is going to let you out to play can I ask that you post here please? Thanks.

I’m planning on joining this trip.

If it’s the Walkham I’ll see you at Denham bridge.

If it’s the Dart, I’ll have the intention of meeting on time in Plympton, but in practice my timings have been know to vary ever so slightly ?

Anyway, having you lead us sounds like a nice Christmas present to me Clive ?

    See all of you tomorrow.

Here I am posting on the forum before 08:00 as promised. If nothing else I am at least reliable.

The Walkham was running at 0.45 at 04:00, which is low but runnable so its the Walkham for us.

Either Meet at Plympton Car park ready to leave at 09:00 or at Denham Bridge at 09:30.

I’ve told your Mum that it will be fun.

    Clive A.
