Doug SitchParticipantWe don’t often get any paddling in March, but this year bucks that trend!
There is some rain forecast for Friday night, and maybe some drizzle on Saturday.
Ideal for a river trip on Sunday!
Meet at Co-op as usual at 9am.
I will update nearer the time.
Please let me know if you plan to come along.

Kevin JonesParticipantI’ll be there – and Kimberly has promised to come along too – provided the current East Coast Blizzard lets me fly back tomorrow!!

ParticipantLower Dart, an alternative trip for our beginners.
Joy and I are going to run the Lower Dart on Sunday, anyone who wants a beginners type trip is welcome to join us. Please let me know.
Open boats.
Club members who wish to come on this trip in open boats are welcome on the understanding that they have had some previous white water open boat experience and can provide their own equipment. I hold no open boat qualifications and as such can only provide safety cover.Clive A.

Doug SitchParticipantI would quite like to run the Tavy from Tavistock down if there is enough water.
What about you guys (and gals)?
DougMarch 9, 2018 at 8:36 pm #7081
Adam CoulsonKeymasterNever done the Tavy so that gets my vote although I clearly can’t speak from any personal experience. Adam
March 9, 2018 at 11:46 pm #7082
EMUParticipantWould love to do the Tavy
March 10, 2018 at 11:20 am #7083
Doug SitchParticipantThe Tavy it is…!
We had lots of rain last night, but the Tavy drops off fast so we should be just fine tomorrow.
Meet at Plympton co-op at 9am as usual.
Then to Denham Bridge at 9:30 ish.
See you there!

EMUParticipantHi Doug and the rest of you intrepid paddlers. I can’t make the club paddle tomorrow. Unfortunately this means Gavin is without a lift as he doesn’t pick up his new van until Monday. Is there any possibility that someone would be able to give him a lift. He lives by the old Naval Hospital in Stonehouse. Thanks, Mark
March 10, 2018 at 4:22 pm #7085
Adam CoulsonKeymasterYeah I can do that – Gavin get in touch this evening and we’ll set up. Might then go straight to Denham Bridge if that’s OK.
March 10, 2018 at 4:37 pm #7086
Doug SitchParticipantDenham Bridge is fine by me, Adam.
It would be great if you could make the pickup.
Thanks,
Doug
