River trip, Sun 26 Jan.

Hi all,

I’m down to run the river trip this Sunday, 26 Jan.

Levels will be low so with rocks, rocks and more rocks we will have a chance of exploring the geology. My choice for our little geological survey is the Loop. Meet at Plympton ready to leave at 09:00 or meet at the lay by at Holne at 09:30.

Excited? Same here.

Canoes. (Open boats.)
Club members who wish to come on this trip in canoes are welcome on the understanding that they have had some previous white water canoeing experience and can provide their own equipment. I hold no canoeing qualifications and as such can only provide safety cover.

I think it may be a little low for me, I quite like the bottom of my boat where it is.
As fascinating a geology tour form your good self may be I think I’ll wait until next time.
