    Looking at the weather forecast for the next few days for us river paddlers it is not looking too bad with a bit of rain on Saturday to hopefully top things up ready for Sunday morning so if you are up for a paddle please append your name below to let us know who and how many of you will be attending. Just to remind you we have 6 more weekends for the river season so my advice to you is make the most of it while you can its a long old dry summer with all the sun we will be experiencing this year!! πŸ™„ πŸ™„ πŸ™„
    Please meet as usual in the Plympton Car Park near the Coop building (Long Stay) ready to LEAVE at 0900 hrs. At the moment I am anticipating that we will run the Loop so those of you who live nearer the venue see you in the layby by 0930 hrs. I will update these arrangements at about 1800 hrs on Saturday. πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

    Joy has invested in a new dry suit and wants to try it out. I told her that if she paddled the Loop then she would give it a good test but Joy is of the opinion that she’d rather not spend the whole day swimming and would rather play on the Lower Dart.

    The upshot is that I am going to lead a trip on the Lower Dart for anyone that thinks the Loop is a bit too exciting. We will meet at the Co-op car park along with Ken’s group ready to leave at 09:00.

    Open boats.
    Club members who wish to come on this trip in open boats are welcome on the understanding that they have had some previous white water open boat experience and can provide their own equipment. I hold no open boat qualifications and as such can only provide safety cover. Joy may well be in her open boat.
