This should be Chris sending this but they are away playing in the snow somewhere nice so you are going to have to put up with me again this Sunday. As usual the weather forecast is doing its usual tricks but I think there will be enough water in the river for the Loop and whatever else is on offer. So please meet at the Plympton Long Stay Car Park next to the Coop ready to leave at 0900 hrs. If you are coming along please leave a note as usual on here just to let us know the numbers regarding the risk assessments etc. If you are not sure just wait until you are please. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
    Have a nice day

I’ll be there on Sunday at Plympton!

Bekky – if you are going, are you still happy to swap boats for a day? ๐Ÿ˜€

Hi Folks well we have had a bit of rain this afternoon but according to the weather forecast there shouldn’t be any more until tomorrow so the level you are seeing now should be quite a bit lower by the time we get on the water in the morning. From the list here there are 3 or 4 more paddlers coming along with us who have contacted me by other means. if anybody is coming along who live nearer the Dart meet us in the layby at 0930 hrs.
So well done to the Irish Rugby today,Scraped through by England and tough luck on the Welsh… interesting afternoon !
See you all in the morning ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

…and it was shed-loads of fun. Thanks, Ken, for another cracking trip, in sunshine, hail and snow (and the occasional dunking) — and thanks to all for a good time.

I second the sentiment – most parts of the world paddle rivers in the summer so don’t appreciate snow and hail ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks Ken for leading us on another cracking trip. Great seeing Pete in the Dancer, Bekky in a playboat, Steve H in a GT and Steve W in a Burn, plus they were all styling it especially Pete. Thanks to everyone for the help, tips and company. Nice to see Banjo on the water again and in the air for an amazing seal launch off the rock before Lovers.
