ModeratorWhat a difficult year we are having. Last week not enough rain and this week possibly too much but we will try to arrange a paddle somewhere. At present I am looking at doing the Dart Loop on Sunday which is open to all comers.
Clive has kindly offered to run a peer paddle on the Upper for those interested at the same time so if you wish to attend one of these trips please leave a message on here informing us of which trip you would like to do. Lots of you are leaving your options right up to very late on Saturday evenings which doesn’t give us much opportunity to arrange any extra cover if we needed to so please let us know before 1800 hrs on Saturday.
At this time please meet at the Plympton Car Park by the Coop at 0845 hrs ready to leave at 0900 hrs
I will update this at about 1800 hrs on Saturday
In the meantime you all have a nice day ???

ParticipantWhilst I told Ken that I would run a trip on the Upper Dart this is dependent on the river being at a suitable level. (By suitable I mean lowish). However, if levels on the Upper Dart are above what I’m happy to lead on there are alternatives. I will make a decision nearer the day, or quite possibly on the day. I expect to put up some kind of post on Saturday evening.

ParticipantThere’s rain forecast overnight so I’m not making my decision about where I’m paddling until the morning. I will post here around 08:00 tomorrow with my thoughts.
I’ve just added a little suspense into you’re otherwise orderly lives.

KeymasterI’ll be there but exactly where will depend on levels and options in the morning. I’m suspended!

ModeratorAs you may have guessed the club trip is looking pretty unlikely with the amount of rain forecast overnight a lot of which is still falling not long before we meet in the morning which means the levels are still rising for a couple of hours even after the rain stops. As Clive has already indicated we will have a look at the levels in the morning to see what the situation is then and post on here at 0800 hrs.

ParticipantApologies for late response.. busy day (on the upper) and didn’t get around to checking the forum. Excuses, excuses! Sorry.
I will check here 0800hrs to see what the plan is with the intention of joining you all, providing nobody objects…. too much. (Don’t answer that)
