This email received in the club inbox, from Plymouth council (TECF = Tamar Estuaries Consultative Forum). Please respond directly to Beth Siddons if you can help:
Hi all,
TECF are partnering with Natural England to produce a short film about the Plymouth Sound & Tamar Estuaries MPA.
The film will start out at the Eddystone and move through the Sound and up the estuary, picking out key habitats and species along the way.
We already have some of the footage, but there are some gaps that we haven’t yet been able to fill, so I’m emailing you all in the hope that you (or someone you know) might be able to help!
We’re particularly on the lookout for still photography or video footage, taken in the Plymouth & Tamar area, of the following:
· Above/below the water at Eddystone
· Little Egrets & Avocets
· Allis shad
· Mussel beds/native oysters
· Seagrass beds
These are specific gaps, but if you have any other footage (above or below the water) that you think might be useful, we’d love to hear from you.
Full credit would be given to photographers for any stills/footage that is used.
We’re hoping to get the film completed in time for World Ocean’s Day in July, so time is of the essence!
I’d be hugely grateful if you could get in touch with me if you have anything you think might fit the bill & would be willing to share with us.
Many thanks,
Beth
