REQUEST FOR SAFETY COVER FOR A MASS SWIM

I organise a New Year’s Day swim from Wembury beach and my insurers require boats on the seaward side of the swimmers. Kayaks are acceptable.
Would you be able to provide six, (or more) Kayakers to fulfil this requirement please. This is a major event, with well in excess of 300 swimmers.
The event is timed for 1p until 2pm. 1st Jan. Post Code: PL9 0HP. Grid Ref. SX 518484
I would be most grateful if you would muster enough Kayakers to meet this essential need.

Are there any of you who would like to have a New Years Day paddle from Wembury Beach and include this in your itinerary please. Good way to get rid of hangovers I am told!!!!
If you would like to volunteer please leave a message on this Forum and I will try and arrange for some Leader to coordinate the arrangements on the day. I know some of you already take a swim on this day so it could be a chance to combine the two??
