Joy has kindly swapped with me, so I have the pleasure of leading the final recreational paddle of 2019. The forecast is looking good — wind SSE force 3 to 4, mostly cloudy but with a possibility of sunny intervals.
We’ll launch from Mount Batten, usual time 10.00 on the water. The idea is to head for Cawsand or Kingsand, but we can adjust on the day if we need to. It’s spring tide, so ebbing until about 1pm, so it should give us a push on the outward journey and on the return — cushy!
Warm clothes, hot drink, lunch, the usual safety gear.
Hoping to see plenty of folk keen to work off some of that festive indulgence.

PS — MB will be closed. We’ll be able to access the sheds but not the changing room or showers. Come prepared!
