    Rec Paddle Saturday 25th

    A slight change in the weather to last Saturday. I am still watching the track of Storm Doris and waiting to see how the winds are on Saturday. I will make a decision about a club paddle on Friday evening. The forecast at the moment is giving SW 25 mph gusting up to 40 mph. It will need to reduce some for a club paddle to take place.

    Watch this space and fingers crossed a weather window opens up for a paddle of sorts.

    Sorry rec paddlers the wind has not abated enough to run a club paddle. The wind is still forecast SW 22 mph gusting into the 30s . With low water just after 11:00 finding a sheltered paddle would of been a challenge. So I am cancelling the club rec paddle.

    I am still thinking about going down to Mount Batten at 10:00 to see what the conditions locally are like, so may go out for a short peer paddle. Probably on the water around 10:30.

    Aw that’s a shame Terry but totally understand. I’m a bit too far away to come down to Mount Batten on the off chance so I’ll see you all next week. ๐Ÿ™
