Saturday 19th Aug Rec Paddle (CANCELLED)
Rearranged to Sunday 20th AugThe weather has firmed up for Saturday and with limited options for a club paddle due to the likely increased sea state, wind against tide and strong SW wind. The conditions will be borderline for a safe paddle and outside club remit.
For anyone interested I am going to run a club paddle the following day on Sunday 20th Aug as an alternative. The wind is easing and the sea less lively, it will still be a bit breezy and some choppy conditions but should be ok for a paddle.
Usual time on the water at 10:00. Please bring any safety equipment you have vhf, towline, first aid etc. Don’t forget lunch and a drink.
