Rec Paddle Saturday 15th May

I have been holding off posting after waiting to see what the weather has in store for Saturday. The conditions are marginal and the forecast is outside the remit for a club paddle. I paddled today and the wind and sea state were challenging in places. The forecast for Saturday is similar but with a westerly breeze. I will wait until Friday evening before making a final decision about cancelling the club rec paddle.

The wind is still around force 5 into force 6 at times on Saturday. I am cancelling the club paddle due to wind and likely sea conditions. With an unfavourable tide we would be very limited on finding sheltered paddling areas. Sorry club paddlers another paddle cancelled 😞
