    Rec Paddle Saturday 12th March

Its looking like being a reasonable weather window for the Saturday paddle. Dry with light SE winds and a little bit of swell.

Bring all your normal paddling kit and safety equipment. If you want to get in close and do some rock hopping then you will need a helmet.

Normal time on the water at Mount Batten 10:00. All club members welcome. See you all there 😀

    Hi Terry

    planning to join you.

The message, below, has just come in about how busy Mount Batten will be tomorrow.

    Bob

    Hi,

We have a large sailing event on at the centre this weekend, slipways and areas in front of the centre will be very busy so please be patient. Limited car parking available on first come first served, please remember there is a large free car park over the road.

Saturday first race starts at 12.00, so launching 10.30/11.00. back approx 3.00

Sunday race starts 10.00, launching at 09.00, back approx. 1.00

    Kind regards

Thanks for a very enjoyable day out, Terry and Clive. Crossing the bridge in flat calm and very fast flow with some interesting little play waves was a first for me and good fun. Good rock hopping too, great company and fab weather — what could be better?
