    Rec Paddle Saturday 10th Feb

    Due to the rather inclement and unpleasant forecast for Saturday I will wait until early Friday evening to make a decision and post details about the paddle. At the moment the weather is looking rather windy and wet. But as always things can change quickly and a window of paddling opportunity may open up. I had thought about an away trip but with the forecast as it is the paddle will be from Mount Batten and a hot shower after.

    Sorry Rec Paddlers but after consulting various sources of weather information there is little hope of there being conditions suitable for a club paddle. The club paddle is CANCELLED.

    The rain is looking constant for most of the day and with a strong SW wind blowing and very strong gusts. Normally I would of had a peer paddle but it is not enticing me tomorrow.

    Fingers crossed for next Saturday.

    Jane Hitchin and I are going to have a couple of hours being beaten up by the conditions. You are welcome to join us. 10:00 on the water at Mount Batten.

    I’ve just had two beatings.

    One from Jane Hitchinggggggggggggssssssssssssss who complained that I left the G & S out of her name.

    The other was by the nice lively conditions. It wasn’t easy but it was fun.

    You probably had to be there.
