Rec paddle, Saturday 10 December.

Hi all,

I’m down to lead the rec paddle this Saturday, 10 December. Light winds and gentle showers are forecast, and that ‘s just the paddlers. All the usual, please be at Mount Batten ready to launch at 10:00 with lunch, snuggly bug clothing and any safety kit that you may possess.

I will be in my small boat but you are invited to use any paddle craft you wish.

The forecast is cold so we will be looking out for icebergs and penguins. Perhaps you could practice the Titanic theme tune.

Hmmm, I don’t remember any penguins on the Titanic, just blokes looking like them! Polar Bears are possible. Anyway, even if fingers drop off in the cold my heart will go on and I plan to be there.
