Rec paddle, Sat 16 August

Hi all,

I’m running the rec paddle this Saturday, 16 August.

You know the drill, meet at Mount Batten in time for a 10:00 start.

You’ll find lunch, safety equipment and suitable clothing a bit useful.

I’ll gently remind you that parking a Mount Batten is almost non-existent. You may like to factor that into your travelling time.

At time of writing, the forecast is for Saturday is for 21 MPH E wind at 13:00, but this can change. If this forecast proves to be accurate then we will be paddling close to the limit for a club paddle, but being easterly we should be able to find shelter from the wind. I predict a visit to Renney Rocks.
