Hi All Please See the below email from MBC director Alex

Please be advised that I have placed a closure sign on the Western slipway and would advise EXTREME caution on the Eastern slipway at this point in time.
As per the norm as soon as ‘green’ was reported by a user the email was sent to the cleaning company, however I have just been advised that the contract with them and PCC has now lapsed and they cannot action the clean until the tender has been renewed as they have been told to STOP cleaning.
I am working on this matter and hope to have some sort of resolution as soon as possible but in the meantime the Western will remain closed and use of the Eastern is advised with EXTREME caution.

We used the Western to land at half tide yesterday (14th) and it was fine. We’d launched from the black beach before low tide, so can’t comment on what it was like then.
