Told you it would be wet.

Told you it would be fun.

Forgot to mention how much it would hurt.

More of the same next week then.

The sea kayak session planned for this Tuesday, 24 May, was scheduled to be the last, but thanks to Jenny Nicholls and John Mitchell (who have agreed to take on my rec paddle commitments) I am now able to run 4 more, so anyone that wants to hone their wet sea kayaking skills please feel free to join us on each Tuesday in June. (7, 14, 21 & 28).

Plastic club boats are available for these sessions on a first come first served basis.

There will be no sea kayak session on Tuesday 31 May.

Well boys and girls, this is quite possibly a first for me. Let me explain.

I cannot usually claim the high ground when it comes to dress sense, but tonight was a rare exception and I will milk it for all I can.

Mike Selly turned up to tonight’s sea kayak session wearing his old brown wet suit topped by his daughters pink cag. I think I will submit this look as a suggestion to Merryl Dockers “Drop Dead Gorgeous” range of kayaking gear.
