ParticipantHi All.
My glamourous assistant Jane Hitchins and I are down to run the last river trip of the season this Sunday, 26 March.
It has rained and there is more rain in the forecast. There will definitely be a river trip on Sunday but at present we don’t know where, it all depends on the levels as I’m sure you are aware.
Being the last trip of the season it’s likely to be busy so we can expect an early start. On top of that the clocks go forward on Saturday night. You may like to go to bed now!
I’ll post again on Saturday with a bit more of a plan.

ParticipantYo Boss,
The Banjo player will see you for some entertainment?Booyah.March 25, 2023 at 7:07 am #16037Clive A
ParticipantHi All.
Well, here’s the plan. We will run the Loop. Meet at the car park adjacent to the Co-op in the Ridgeway at Plympton ready to leave at 08:00. Those wishing to meet at the river in the layby adjacent to weir at 08:30.
BUT
To make things a bit more complicated there is a fair amount of rain forecast overnight. If the Walkham becomes runnable I will change the plan to run the Walkham. I will post here my final decision before 07:15 tomorrow morning. (Sunday). If those of you that intend meeting at Holne let me know I will text you with any change of plan.
Please be aware that I don’t have access to Facebook. I won’t see anything you post there.

ParticipantWell, would you look at the gauges? At 12:45 today the Walkham was a 0.52 and rising. That was a while ago so hopefully it’s peaked and is on the way back down now so we will go and have a look at the Walkham.
To save too much confusion we will still meet at Plympton but if those of you that live on the other side of the city and would prefer to go straight to the river meet at Denham Bridge at 08:30.
If you are going to meet at the river it would be helpful to know. A text to 017854648584would be appreciated.
See you all soon.
