My friend has a second hand Kirton he wants to sell.Asking price c £400.
Tried it out, foot pedals too far away ,go ache in small of back. Atlantic cockpit felt a little cramped and diff to exit from.

In your opinion, would this pain problem be corrected if pedals were properly adjusted.
I’ts in reasonable condition ,and really a bargain, so I’m kind of half and half.
One half says it’s fast and an easy paddle.
~The other says it hurts my back, and bothered that deck is lightweight for TX rescues, and surf landing.

If I bought and didn’t like it would any one else be interested?
Or d0 I pass it by and try something else?
    Please advise

    Patrick,

Back ache could well be caused by footpegs being badly adjusted.

Kirton is a good make so probably OK for TX rescues.

Ocean cockpit is small and getting in and out can be an issue. It’s personal choice for this one I’m afraid.

I’ll leave you to work out the answer to the other question.
