Intro to Sea Kayaking Saturday 14th May

We will meet at Mount Batten and the first session will start at 10:00. As advertised in Wet News these sessions are aimed at the novice to sea kayaking and will involve a little theory and plenty of practical aspects. It will be an all day session so bring lunch and a drink.

Places are limited and thank you to those who have already shown interest and said they will be coming along. If you have your own sea kayak bring it along and your normal paddling kit, you will also need a helmet. Club equipment will be available to use.

It will be busy at the club sheds first thing with the normal Rec paddle taking place and an Intermediate sea trip.

If there are any more club paddlers interested please email me at terryc1@blueyonder.co.uk or phone 07828652775 and I will try and fit you in.

    See you on Saturday ๐Ÿ˜€

In addition to this day session there will be a couple of Wednesday eve sessions on 18th May & 1st June.

A great intro session on Saturday with plenty of club paddlers trying out sea kayaking for the first time ๐Ÿ˜€

The Wed evening sessions are now FULL.

If there are any other club members who would like to give sea kayaking a go please let me or the Club Leader know and we will try and put on some more sessions this year.

The first of the Wed evening sessions was a little on the breezy side, but after I informed the group we would find shelter over at ‘Deadman’s Bay’ things went great.

Nice to see so many new club paddlers trying out sea kayaks and having fun.

Roll on next Wednesday and some more paddling.
