    Hi paddlers!
Well,,,,, after weeks of drought, we might just have some rain before the weekend ….!
We won’t know till nearer the time, so it will have to be a ‘wait and see’ job….
    Keep your fingers crossed!
Place & time as usual, 9am at B&Q. I hope to run the middle section of the Dart – The ‘Loop’.

I’ve never seen so many ifs! So for me? If I can abandon visiting family on Sunday morning. If enough but not too much water. If I can summon up the courage and if Doug or deputy is happy to guide as first trip in only my second season. Fingers crossed, Adam

It is looking a promising… with some rain forecast early Saturday.
By Sunday, it will be either low or very low (for those of you with any trepidation).
As the ground is so dry, the Dart will drop off quickly.

I’m very keen for a Sunday river. I live in Ivybridge and so would it be ok to meet you closer to the river rather than driving west to B&Q? If so, where will you be meeting?

    Thanks,

    Jon

The plan is to run the Middle Dart.
We will first stop in the lay-by near Holne Weir to get changed and set up the shuttle. Do you know where that is?
That is the best spot to meet.
If we leave B&Q at 9am, then we should be there 9:20-9:25.

The forecast for rain tonight is promising ๐Ÿ™‚
    The trip will be on.
I don’t expect there to be much of a level as it will run off quickly.
    See you at B&Q!

Despite my optimism – and the forecasts – we didn’t get the rain we needed, overnight.
Reports back from this morning are that the Dart is VERY low still. It will be lower tomorrow.
I am going to cancel the trip for tomorrow. ๐Ÿ™
