    Hi everyone,

I’m running an intermediate sea kayak trip this Saturday, 19 August. As far as I can see this is the only club paddle this Saturday.

We are going to meet at Beesands Car Park at 10:00, grid ref SX820407. (For those unable to use a map the nearby Cricket Inn has a postcode of TQ7 2EN).

Please be advised that this is an intermediate sea kayak trip. The aim at present is to paddle around both Start Point and Prawle Point and then to return to Beesands. This trip is not for those without sea kayak experience.

Club boats are available for this trip, book via equipment officer Pete Anderson. 07958 694434 or equipment@ppca-canoe-club.org.uk I’m not going to Mount Batten on Saturday morning so you will also need to arrange to pick up the boat.

Joy and I are thinking of dining out somewhere on the way home. If you wanted to join us we would be delighted.

Conditions are looking fresh — we should be sheltered from the westerly wind most of the time, and tidal flows are in our favour. Really looking forward to exploring this spectacular bit of coast.

Superb, looks good. See you there. The wind’s due to moderate and so it should be a cracking day.

Thanks Clive and Bob for a great day out with lots of seals, bumpyness and great views. I slept well last night!
