Intermediate and beginners river trips, Sun 12 Feb.

Hi all

The good news is that once again Ken and I are hoping to run a beginners and an intermediate river trip this Sunday, 12 Feb. I will be running the intermediate trip and Ken will be terrorising, (sorry, encouraging), the beginners.

The bad news is that there isn’t a lot of rain forecast between now and then so who knows what will actually happen? I will post again on Saturday evening with final arrangements but in the meantime if you think you are going to come along can I ask you to let us know somehow please? Thanks.

In case you have missed Julie’s previous post Julie & John Elworthy are intending to run a 3 star white water assessment on the 19th. Some of you need to go on this.

Hi boys and girls,

Whilst it has been a dry week river levels haven’t dropped as much as expected, meaning that both trips will run tomorrow as advertised.

Meet at the car park formerly known as B&Q at Plympton ready to leave at 09:00, or at the river at 09:30. (Holne lay-by for the intermediate trip and the cafe car park for the beginners trip).

If you are going to come can I ask that you let me know please? Posting here, a text or even a phone call would be excellent.

I know this is obvious but it’s going to be cold. In fact BRRRRRRRRRR. Wrap up warm.
