Easter Paddle Sat 26th March
Apologies for posting early but I missed the deadline for putting an advert in the March Wet News to pass on the details.
The Easter paddle this year will start & finish at Mount Batten. Please be ready to paddle for 10:30. (note the later start time as this is a social occasion and not a particularly long paddle). We will paddle to a local beach and have an extended lunch.
It is a PPCA tradition that paddlers dress and adorn themselves in some form of Easter theme. We also have a communal feast of Easter food to share with our fellow paddlers. Please post on the forum if you are thinking of coming along and if you are bringing savoury or sweet food.

Weather not looking too good — but if it’s on I’ll definitely be there with hot soup.

If you have been looking at the weather for the Easter weekend you may have noticed the Met Office has issued a weather warning for Saturday. Gale force winds and heavy showers with some large swells. It is highly likely that the conditions will not be very pleasant or suitable for a social Easter paddle.
I will wait until tomorrow evening to cancel (just in case things improve).
