TerryCParticipantEASTER Paddle Saturday 15th April
The Easter paddle will start & finish from Wembury beach. Meet at the beach car park (GR 518484), ready to paddle for 10:30, (0915 at Mount Batten for anyone wanting to use club equipment). National Trust charges apply at the beach carpark, ยฃ5 for the day. Or try and share with a club member who is with the NT and gets free car parking.
This is a normal recreational paddle but sea kayaks are welcome to help carry the food. It will not be a particularly long distance paddle as we will have an extended lunch break.
It has become a PPCA tradition over the years that paddlers dress in some form of Easter theme. We also have a communal feast of Easter food to share with each other. So please bring along something sweet or savoury to contribute.
If the weather changes for the worse I may change the venue, check this post later in the week for confirmation. (if inclement it will be from MB).

TerryCParticipantWell the weather has firmed up nicely for the weekend and the Easter paddle will definitely be from Wembury. The surf is staying on the small side and the wind is easing off and the sun may even be shining.
Details about times etc as in the earlier post.
Don’t forget that costume and some food to share with your paddling chums.

TerryCParticipantAnother fantastic PPCA Easter paddle. 15 club members paddled from Wembury beach to the Yealm Estuary up to Baring House half way up Newton Creek. Then out of the estuary for lunch at Cellar Beach. Rock hopping back to Wembury. A cracking feast of Easter food and great company as always.
