TerryCParticipantClub Xmas Paddle Saturday 16th Dec
Yes folks it’s very nearly that time of year again, brush off those hats and Santa costumes, and come join your fellow club members for a paddle, feasting and making merry. The paddle will start and finish from Mount Batten this year. On the water ready to paddle for 10:30. Please note the slightly later time.
The minimum dress requirement for this paddle (in addition to your normal paddling and safety gear) is a festive hat. The preferred costume is fancy dress above the spraydeck. We always have a communal picnic of festive fayre.
Please post if you are coming along and what food you will be bringing along, sweet or savoury.
This paddle is open to all, you can paddle a short boat, sea kayak, sit on top, even an open boat if the wind and sea conditions are suitable. It will be a shortish paddle with an extended lunch break, a social occasion to meet and chat with fellow paddlers before the Xmas break.
Hopefully we will have a good turn out as in previous years and keep up the PPCA tradition.
Terry 😀

TerryCParticipantIt’s looking like the sun will be out but not particularly warm. It will feel chilly while we are having lunch so make sure you have plenty of extra layers and a hat.
Should be a good turn out of festive paddlers. See you all tomorrow.
