KeymasterPlease be aware that our re-opening plans have been made in consideration with available industry guidance and will be reviewed regularly.
We are really excited to announce that the Mount Batten Watersports and Activities Centre will be reopening on Wednesday 7th April 2021, and from this date the Centre will be open from Wednesday to Sunday until at least Sunday 18th April – this is based on the interpretation of current available guidance yet please be aware may be subject to change at short notice.
Times of opening:
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday opening times will be 12noon until 6pm.
Saturday and Sunday opening times will be from 10am until 6pm.
Please note the Centre will be open to enable members, clubs, affiliates and customers on pre-booked sessions only access to the Reception area and all Covid-19 compliant safety measures will be in place. Please observe all signage and measures when you visit.
Our shared facilities, changing rooms including showers, WILL NOT be open to any individuals or groups until at least the 17th May in line with the HM Government roadmap.
We’ll be launching our Easter holiday watersports sessions shortly and these will start from Monday 5th April, two days ahead of the Centre being open to all. We will ensure all details of how to book, what to bring and what you can expect when you arrive on-site are clear when we launch the sessions. Please note that all sessions will be on a pre-bookable basis.
On-site accommodation here at the Centre and our cafe/bar The Lookout will be open no earlier than 17th May 2021.
Whilst we are all so pleased to be able to confirm a re-opening date for the Centre, and for our small team to return to doing what they love over the coming weeks and months, we remain ever mindful that HM Government are working strictly to their four-point criteria being met. Please be aware that our re-opening, and subsequent opening times and access, may be subject to change and we will continue to communicate any changes to you via email (members, clubs and affiliates) and via our website and social media channels.
If you wish to contact the Centre between now and our re-opening on Wednesday 7th April please email enquiries@mount-batten-centre.com and your email will be received and dealt with accordingly. Please note the majority of our team continue to be furloughed during this time so we appreciate your patience in response times.
We will make a further update soon about opening times and watersports sessions available to book from the 19th April 2021.
Kind Regards
Andy Mossford – Operations Manager

ParticipantHi I can see this isnt the right place but there is not yet a forum page for this Tuesday’s training session. This is a notice for the coaches who are leading this session that Sarah Clarke, and ex PPCA member , did her 3 star with Clive A. Her son is booked onto the first intro-course this year. Sarah would like to paddle with this Tuesday and Saturday with a view to rejoining the club. Please look out for her , “a short blood Northener!”
Thanks
