ModeratorWell things are looking a bit better for this weekend with a drop of rain during this week. Keep your fingers crossed that there will still be enough there on Sunday for a reasonable paddle. As usual please meet at the B & Q car park at Marsh Mills ready to leave at 0915 hrs. We will be paddling the lower Dart from Holne Weir to Buckfast during which time we will have a short stop about half way down when you will have the opportunity to have something to eat and drink if you so wish. Don’t forget to bring it along as there are not many Cafes on the way. If you are intending to come along and join us please leave a short message on here to this effect. I am sorry but I do not wish to know that you cannot make it!!!!!Maybe next time. If you are living nearer to the Dart meet us at the Holne Weir Layby by 0945 hrs. I will confirm everything on Saturday as soon as New Zealand have won the World Cup. ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ and My apologies to you Wallaby supporters!! ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ……………… Hopefully???

ModeratorWell there is a good level there this morning although it will drop a bit more by tomorrow but should still be a good level for us therefore the trip is on. Meet as planed except those travelling direct. For you please meet at the lay-by by Buckfast bridge NOT at Holne lay-by. Just off the A38 at the Buckfast turn off. ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐

ParticipantHi Ken,
I’m planning on being there tomorrow but I have just finished working nightshift so sleep pattern is a bit awry at the moment. I also need to get my kayak from Mountbatten in the morning. All being well, I’ll see you in the morning. If I’m not there don’t wait.
Steve.
