    Hi all,

I am running the beginners river trip on Sunday 8 November. We will either paddle the Lower Dart or the Walkham, depending on how much rain we have between now and then. I will post on Saturday evening to let you all know.

Whatever happens we will leave Plympton B&Q at 09:00. Can I ask that you either post here or contact me if you intend coming along please. 01752 344425 or cliveandjoy01@gmail.com

Please note that Doug is running an intermediate trip on the Loop on the same day. You’re spoilt for choice, you lucky people.

    See you on Sunday

    Clive A.

    Hi all,

I am assuming that today’s rather high water levels will diminish overnight, in which case the beginners’ river trip will run on the river Walkham tomorrow. Meet ready to leave Plympton B&Q at 09:00, or meet at Denham Bridge at 09:30.

As its Remembrance Sunday I will invite you to join me in 2 minutes silence immediately before we launch.

If you want to speak / contact me its 01752 344425 or cliveandjoy01@gmail.com

    See you tomorrow.

Many thanks to Clive for leading the group over some tricky (for me anyway) bits of river and to Justin for advice and help. A great day and wounds should heal quite quickly. I have not seen so many in the river at the same time! Until next!

Well, a most enjoyable day on the Walkham. It did make me smile.

The somewhat faster flow of the water compared to the last few weeks seemed to catch some of you out and tested our rescue skills. This rescue malarkey is rather hard work isn’t it? I need a good lie down now.

My thanks (in strictly alphabetical order) to Jane, Justin and Mike. It would have been very difficult without your help today. I also appreciate the work done by you others in helping to recover equipment etc from the river and re-unite it with its owner. All in all a real team effort, well done all.

    Looking forward to next time.

Thanks from me too, to Clive and all of the coaches.
Limping around at the moment but a great river trip – I think the adrenaline is still working as I’ve completed loads of school work too!

See you next time – if I’m brave enough.

Earlier I submitted a post, probably on another forum area. Thanks to the coaches. Awesome swimming lesson.
