Beginners river trip, Sunday 6November.

Hi All

I’m down to run the beginners river trip this Sunday, 6 November.

I don’t know how observant you are but I this week espied a whole bunch of tumbleweed leaving the river Dart looking for wetter climes and I also witnessed cacti turning to dust due to lack of moisture.

In plainer English there is not enough water in our rivers to make this a viable trip, so unless something very wet happens over the next 2 days we will have to cancel yet another river trip. I will confirm things on Saturday afternoon.

Well boys and girls, I did promise that I would post again today so here I am, posting away.

The only thing drier than the river Dart at the moment is a temperance bar so I can confirm that tomorrows river trip is cancelled.

I’m sure this drought will end eventually but in the mean time, aaaarrrrrggghhhhhh. (That’s a cry of frustration in case you couldn’t work it out).
