Unfortunately I can’t make it on Sunday Clive – disappointing as I would like to have another go on the Walkham.

    Enjoy the trip,

    Robin

Thank you for you kind invitation, Clive, which I am delighted to accept. There’s just one bit that I might choose to parambulate around! See you Sunday, Adam

Hi Clive, thought I’d replied but can’t see it. Anyway, many thanks for your kind invitation which I am delighted to accept. I may, however, choose to perambulate around a short downhill secion of the river if that’s OK? See you Sunday, Adam

    Hi all

When I wrote the original post the forecast for today (Saturday) was for a monsoon type deluge. Since then it has been dry and there is now not a lot of rain in the forecast. With water levels dropping I have come to the conclusion that the Walkham would be a bit of a scrape so reluctantly I have changed Sunday’s paddle to the Lower Dart.

I know some of you will be disappointed not to be on the Walkham but that’s the joy of river paddling. The Walkham will be there for us another day.

Meet at B&Q ready to leave at 09:00, or 09:30 at the lay by at Buckfast.

    Clive A.

p.s. Louis, I remember you, what a splendid fellow you are, looking forward to getting re-acquainted.

Steve, Micheal Jackson song? Not my cup of tea so I’ll take you word for it.

    Hi Clive,

I’m surprised you can remember me, I’ve been away from the rivers too long.
