    Hi John. Happy new year to you too. I will be along on Sunday providing the real novice capsizing entertainment again! 4x with you on the Dart, 3x with Clive on the Exe but who’s counting. This will only be my 3rd white water venture.

    Hi John,

    Many thanks for today, nice to lose my (white water) virginity in such fine company! Just a shame Clive had let loose so many polar bears to aid me taking so many swims!! At least the inside of my boat is spotless after so many internal washes!!

    And Clive, thank you for being such a great coach with a huge amount of patience!

    I know that are blessed with many and varied talents but didn’t know that swimming like a penguin is one of them. Perhaps you need to change your name to The Antarcticrambler? Thanks for the entertainment, I wouldnโ€™t have missed it for the world.

    Changing the subject, thanks to all you paddlers for your company and to John for leading another enjoyable PPCA river trip. What jolly fun.
