Beginners river trip, Sun 9 October.

Hi all,

I’m leading the beginners river trip this Sunday, 9 October. River levels are low and not expected to change before the weekend so we will run the lower lower Dart, that is the section from Buckfast to Staverton. This section needs very little water to make it work and in my opinion is a very underrated beginners river, but don’t take my word for it, come along and see for yourself.

Meet at Plympton B&Q ready to leave at 09:00 please.

If you are coming along can I ask that you let me know please? either by posting here of via my contact details below. This will allow me to ensure that we have enough helpers to give everyone a meaningful experience.

Open boats.
Club member who wish to come on this trip in open boats are welcome on the understanding that they have had some previous white water open boat experience and provide their own equupment. I hold no open boat qualifications and as such can only provide safety cover.

I should be there. Got a bit of a shoulder thing going on still but thinking of using the open boat. Anyone else said they might come in an open boat yet?
