Beginners Canoe White water paddle Sat 12th Nov

Hi All im trying again to run a canoe trip for the white water lovers in big boats!
It looks like we might have some water on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday so it could be possible we can get out this weekend.

I am limited to numbers but members with 3 star can come along and act as helpers should i need it with numbers.

Club boats are available for use but you will need to be able to collect and transport the canoes.
Collecting Club boats around 8:30am from mount batten, aiming to be getting on the river for 10am after doing the shuttle.
Please post if you are interested in joining me.
I will confirm if this trip will run later this week when the rain has actually started. I am not prepared to run a canoe trip on the river dart if the Austins Bridge guage is less than 0.50 even then i wont guarantee and decision to run wil lbe made on friday with a final decision on the Saturday Morning.

Hi All, with the rain forcast over night this should be a runable level on the lower lower or baby dart.
I am hopeful that the river will be over 0.5 in the morning if not it will be pretty close.

Meeting at Mount Batten for 8:30 to get boats.

Thanks Andy for my first canoe white water trip of the season. River a little low, but the autumn colours were lovely and the Kingfisher I saw at the end just topped it off nicely.
