    Hi Everyone,

To start the new year off we are paddling in the Torbay area, so we will meet at Goodrington sands beach,At 0930 and on the water for ten. You will require your own sea kayak for this as the club sea kayaks will still be locked in the sheds at MB due to the festive period.

Weather says it will be windy and wet so bring your good paddling gear .

There is car parking at Goodrington sands so you will require money for the machine.

    See you there.

    Hi Brim

    I’m planning to be there.

I live part way along the route from Plymouth so if it can be worked out I’d be happy to share a car.

Sorry Brim. Can’t make this one as I am away. Hope you all have a great paddle.

I have just checked with MB who are open today as normal and Saturday as normal. So getting to the members shed will not be a problem if you have a key.

If you want to use a sea kayak you will need to speak with Alan Ede.

Ian, I think I will be giving tomorrows paddle a miss; but I do hope you have a lovely time.

Thanks for a good stretch today, Brim. Very nice mix of conditions — and some challenging head-to-wind work! Extraordinary range of dramatic cliffs. I reckon we did between 15 and 16 km.

Ian I absolutely loved it, never let it be said that smeg does not appreciate the sublime pleasure of aquatic masochism commonly refered to as seakayaking.
