White-water

The rivers

The Tavy from Hill Bridge to Harford Bridge can provide some fast, continuous grade 3-4 water when high. Often it is far too low unless in torrential rain. Care needs to be taken for fallen trees which often block passage. For those liking a long walk-in (2+ miles), the Tavy Cleave (above Hill Bridge) provides some tough paddling when very high.

There are other runs in the area, mostly very small and tree infested for those liking such things.
