Recreational paddles
There is a range of local placid water to explore in the estuaries of the
Avon, Yealm and Tamar, and the surrounding area, especially using open canoes.
Members have taken part in several recreational tours in the UK over the
year. Every summer a large group of club members go to the Scilly Isles for a sun-soaked week
or two of sea paddling, rest and
recreation (and some fun!).
We run recreational paddles in Plymouth Sound from 10.00
am (on the water time) till 2 or 3 pm every Saturday throughout
the year. In the summer, we also run open canoe sessions
from 5.45 pm till 8.15 pm on Monday evenings.
